Ministry Highlights
Our 6 Pillars of Ministry
Center of Life Church is organized around purpose. Our six pillars connect worship and prayer, hospitality and care, Scripture-based teaching and discipleship, leadership development, community outreach, and faithful stewardship. Together they help people encounter God, grow in faith, discover their gifts, become equipped to lead, and serve Sioux Falls and beyond.
Presence — Worship & Prayer
Psalm 22:3 • John 4:23-24 • Acts 4:31
We don’t perform worship. We host the Presence of God. Everything at Center of Life flows from the altar — because where God’s presence dwells, transformation happens.
Connection — Hospitality & Care
Acts 2:42-47 • Romans 12:13-15
You belong before you believe. We create environments where people are seen, known, and valued. From your first step through the door to your deepest seasons of life, you’ll never walk alone.
Formation — Teaching & Discipleship
Ephesians 4:11-16 • Matthew 28:19-20 • Hebrews 6:1
Our 24-week Acts 2 pathway forms disciples in spirit, soul, mind, and body. We believe information without formation produces deformation — so we don’t just teach truth, we walk you into it.
Equipping — Leadership & Ministry Training
2 Timothy 2:2 • Ephesians 4:11-12 • Romans 12:6-8
We help people grow into confident Christian leaders. Through the COL Activation School, biblical leadership gifts, ministry training, and servant leadership development, people discover their calling, develop practical skills, and prepare to serve the church and community.
Outreach — Evangelism & Community Engagement
Matthew 28:19-20 • Acts 1:8 • Matthew 25:35-36
Center of Life Church serves Sioux Falls through prayer, outreach, recovery ministry, community partnerships, hospitality, and practical care. Whether you are new to church or ready to use your gifts, we will help you find a meaningful place to volunteer and serve.
Administration — Operations & Stewardship
1 Corinthians 14:40 • 1 Corinthians 12:28
Order is the foundation of authority. We steward every resource — time, treasure, and talent — with Kingdom integrity, so every pillar of this house can function with excellence.
