Center of Life Church is a church in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
WHAT WE COLLECT
We collect information you give us directly: your name, email address and phone number, when you fill in a form on our website, a connection card at a service, or a form in a Facebook or Instagram advertisement; what you told us you were interested in, for example that you are planning a visit, would like prayer, or want to serve; and any prayer requests or messages you choose to send us.
We do not buy personal information from anyone, and we do not collect financial account details through this website. Online giving is handled by our giving provider under its own policy.
WHY WE COLLECT IT
To welcome you and to answer you. Specifically: to contact you about a visit you planned, including sending directions and service details; to respond to a prayer request, a question, or a request to serve; and to let you know about services and events, if you asked us to.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent or trade it. We do not share it with advertisers.
TEXT MESSAGES
If you give us your mobile number and agree to be contacted, we may send you text messages about your visit or about church news. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them, or HELP for help. We will not share your number with anyone for their own marketing.
WHO ELSE HANDLES YOUR INFORMATION
We use a small number of service providers to run the church. They may process your information only on our instructions: Planning Center, our church database and forms; Text In Church, our email and text follow-up; Meta, meaning Facebook and Instagram, which collects your details when you complete a form inside one of our advertisements and passes them to us, and whose own use of your information is governed by Meta's privacy policy; and Wix, our website host.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or where we believe in good faith that it is necessary to protect someone from harm.
CHILDREN
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this website or through our advertisements. Information about children who attend Kingdom Kids is given to us by a parent or guardian at check-in and is used only for the care and safety of that child.
HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
We keep contact information for as long as you remain in touch with the church, or until you ask us to remove it.
YOUR CHOICES
You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop contacting you. Email info@centeroflifechurchsf.org or call or text (605) 627-8334 and we will take care of it.
CHANGES
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
